Christine Sun

Professor Sun is a renowned technical and business expert in the global filtration industry. She worked for Freudenberg Filtration Technologies from 2004 to 2011 as an R&D manager and then as Technology Director for Donaldson from 2011 to 2013. She is now chairwoman at Waterloo Filtration Institute and she will communicate on the theme on "Advanced Filter Media Technologies, Trends, and Opportunities".

This presentation will explore the latest advancements in filter media technologies, with a focus on innovations in nonwovens, nanofibers, membranes, and other sustainable materials. Key trends such as continuous sustainable development, smart filtration systems, AI-driven optimization, PFAS-free technologies, and eco-friendly solutions will also be discussed.
